Jesus, you too turned 30.
You would leave your hometown
You would leave your mom
You would leave your friends
Jesus, you too turned 30
You would enter the desert
You would be tempted
You would be hungry
Jesus, you too turned 30
You would be invited to a wedding
You would call your disciples
You would meet new friends
You would heal the lame
Jesus, you too turned 30
You would cry over his death
You would be questioned
You would be doubted
You would be praised
Jesus, you too turned 30
You would be transfigured
You would be teaching
You would be forgiving
You would be healing
Jesus, you too turned 30
Jesus, you weren't called to reveal yourself as the Son of God until you were 30. It wasn't until you were 30 years old that the Father called you into the desert. It wasn't until you were 30 that Father entrusted you with the 12. It wasn't until you were 30 that you would heal, forgive, prophesy, preach, teach and challenge. Why not before? Why not later?
Jesus, help me trust in the Father's perfect timing instead of my imperfect planning.
